International literacy day: “Many students, graduates are half literate”

As Nigerians commemorate the 2018 International Literary Day, prominent Nigerians have advocated the need for students to embrace reading culture, as part of the required skills to be relevant in the 21st century.

They made the call, yesterday, at the CORA House, Surulere, Lagos, during an event organised by Pen International Nigeria Centre, a.k.a PEN Nigeria, to commemorate the 52nd International Literary Day with the theme: “Literacy And Skills Development.”
