In Italy, an old Italian woman was raped by a 26-year-old Nigerian boy

An elderly 75-year-old woman was raped by a 26-year-old Nigerian who offered the woman help to bring her shopping bags from the supermarket to her home. When they got to her house, the Nigerian, host of "Cara di Bari" social service structure, has repeatedly beaten and raped the woman. The story is occurred in Gioia del Colle, Bari, Italy.

The migrant was arrested by the "Carabinieri" police force, after the old woman alerted her son and described his assailant to the Armed Forces. 

The woman is admitted to the "Acquaviva delle Fonti" hospital, obstetrics and gynecology department.

It was not the first time that the young man offered to accompany her home to help carry her shopping bags. He is a 26-year-old Nigerian citizen who has been in host communities for a long time. She's a 76 year old woman. Before the usual supermarket, in Gioia, Bari, Italy, where the young man stood in search of money, he would smile at her by taking the shopping bags from the old woman's hands. Together they would have reached the lady's house, not far from the hospital "Paradiso". Here the Nigerian attacked the woman, beated her wildly and then raped her multiple times.

And she is currently being admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology department of the "Miulli" in Acquaviva, where she arrived in serious conditions and in a state of shock due to the injuries reported. The "Carabinieri" law enforcement force, who raised the complaint of the elderly, they have identified the aggressor: a Nigerian citizen was arrested. The identity of aggressor is from both the description provided by the victim and the testimonies gathered by the residents of the area and the regular visitors to the supermarket.

The 26-year-old nigerian has been for some time residing in Gioia del Colle. Currently, according to investigative sources, he would be a guest of the Bari Palese asylum seekers center. The man normally offered to help the old woman by taking her shopping bags in front of the supermarket. According to the reconstruction of the law enforcement, the lady accepted, but after the door of her home opened, the unexpected is happened. Violent aggression, as confirmed by the doctors of "Miulli" hospital.
According to the evidence gathered, the Nigerian citizen then return to the supermarket.

After the help of her son, the hospitalized woman did not hesitate to lodge a complaint with the carabinieri. Despite the physical and emotional conditions, the old woman provided a detailed description of the aggressor.

The military, co-ordinated by Marshal Michele Di Lorenzo, commander of the juncture station, conducted lightning surveys and were able to trace and block the 26-year-old nigerian. Aggravated sexual violence and personal injury are the crimes that the judiciary now disputes. He is currently in custody in the district of Bari, waiting for the detention to be validated by the judge for preliminary investigations at the Barese Court.
