The acting president Yemi Osibanjo said he was pleased to have attended the ceremony to discharge Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Limited,

THE ACTING PRESIDENT YEMI OSINBAJO IN HIS SPEECH ON JULY 27, 2017 AT IEPL COMPLEX, PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE.

He was pleased to have attended the ceremony to discharge Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Limited, (IEPL), from the mandatory Monitoring Programme of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) according to what he wrote on his twitter feed.

In his words "you will recall that in 2006, 75% of Eleme Petrochemical Limited’s equity was sold to Indorama Consortium Ltd, the present Core Investor of the Company, for US$225million while 10% was sold to the NNPC Pension Fund for US$30million. Following this, the company was handed over to its new owners on October 26, 2006.

As a cittizen of the (FRN) I do appreciate the good work of Mr Yemi Osibanjo. But what I, don't get is in a country where more than 40% of the population can't read and write, how do u want then to know what is going on in their country, or how would they follow you on your twitter feed?
In education there is still gender war against women that make me sick. Mr Osibanjo hasn't it come to your notice that more than 55.9% of women are not educated? why more than 68.9% of men are educated. I don't think there should be any illiterate not to talk of  stark illiterate, with all the resources we got in Nigeria regardless the gender.

Mr Osibanjo went further: "In 2009, the National Council on Privatization (NCP) graciously approved the sale of 7.5% and 2.5% of the remaining government’s 15% reserved equity in the company to the community and staff of the company respectively, leaving a balance of 5% with the BPE on-behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN).
Following the 2006 handover, the BPE carried out routine monitoring on the enterprise to ensure that the core investor adhered to and implemented the post-acquisition plan it had laid out for the company."

Nigerians is it not yet time we ask these politicians for accountability for the future of our next generations. The democracy in Nigeria is only for the politicians, and the rich. Even Senator Dino Melaye in his own word said "Nigeria must deal with the problem of dishonesty in other to move forward". Mr Dino Melaye who said "he has 8 degrees" couldn't even spell ORDER, he used OTHER. Is on his twitter feed go check it out.
