Breaking News Nnamdi Kanu And His Private Biafra Army Training With Weapons

The images were released by the arrested leader himself, Nnamdi Kanu before he was arrested on October 14th and has since been detained on charges ranging from treasonable felony to sedition and terrorism.

In the early hours of August 15, 2017, NAIJ.com reported that the governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, urged Igbos to turn their back to the agitation for Biafra by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Okorocha also called on the traditional, religious and political leaders of the region to speak out against Kanu to avoid being led to war unprepared by the utterances of the IPOB leader.

Okorocha who made this statement at the presentation of staff of office and Certificate of recognition to traditional rulers, said there are 5 million Igbos living across the country and there would be no less than N3 trillion loss of properties if there should be a war forcing the Igbos to move back to the south-east region.

In a worrying turn of events, it appears that Okorocha maybe right and Nigeria is about to go down the path of another civil war prompted by the agitation of Igbo people for a sovereign state of Biafra. In a video posted by Somto Okoronkwo on the Radio Biafra Facebook page, Nnamdi Kanu is seen walking with what appears to be a private military force dressed in black and wearing red berets

Music is played in the background as flags representing Biafra are waved. One worrisome aspect of the video is the number of people, mostly youths dressed as part of his own private militia. The video which has since gone viral on Facebook drew mixed reactions. Many condemned the IPOB leader, others praised him, while others viewed the entire affair as simply ridiculous.
